All DVISD Schools Will Remain Closed Through The 2019-2020 Academic Year.

In compliance with the order announced by Governor Greg Abbott, Del Valle ISD will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 academic year. The health and safety of our students, families, and staff remains our top priority. The closure includes cancellation of all extracurricular activities, athletics, after school programs, and events. During the closure of schools, Del Valle ISD will follow an Alternate Learning Plan. Click below for more information.

Graduation Update

Texas State University has canceled all in-person indoor ceremonies which impacts our in-person graduation scheduled for August. Please continue to review our webpage http://dvhs.dvisd.net/seniors/ for updates.

DVHS Online Learning

During the district closure, in response to the COVID-19 Virus, Del Valle High School will continue instruction online. Teachers will post resources, activities, assignments, labs, projects, etc. on their Google Classroom for students to complete and submit through Google Classroom.

Special Olympics

The Special Olympics has recognized Del Valle High School as a Unified Champions School. Congratulations to our Special Education, Athletic, Dance, Cheer, Theater, and Band departments for for supporting inclusion in the DVHS community!

Del Valle ISD serves over 11,000 students on 15 campuses and works to do “Whatever It Takes” for their students. The district’s official mascot is the cardinal and the colors are true red and white.
