Following community feedback gathered in December, North Del Valle High School will move forward with the Bluejays as its official mascot. The district is now inviting students, families, staff, and community members to help shape the school’s visual identity.

Beginning Wednesday, February 25, Principal Larry De La Cruz will transition to a new role with district administration in Del Valle ISD. Starting Wednesday, Dr. Stacie Holiday will serve as Executive Principal of Del Valle High School.

On January 6, the Del Valle ISD Board of Trustees approved the district's academic calendar for the 2026-2027 school year.

Del Valle Early College High School senior, Stephanie Obregon, has achieved an extraordinary accomplishment, earning a whopping $374,000 full scholarship to Boston College, one of the nation’s most prestigious universities.
