DVISD School Closure Extended Through May 1

After careful consideration and discussions with the state Commissioner of Education and Superintendents in Central Texas, Del Valle ISD determined that it is in the best interest of our community to remain closed through May 1st. The closure includes cancellation of all extracurricular activities, athletics, after school programs, and events. Click below for more information.

DVHS Online Learning

During the district closure, in response to the COVID-19 Virus, Del Valle High School will continue instruction online. Teachers will post resources, activities, assignments, labs, projects, etc. on their Google Classroom for students to complete and submit through Google Classroom.

Del Valle ISD will move to an E-learning plan beginning the week of March 30. Several companies are offering free or reduced cost internet to families with school-aged children for a limited time.

FIT Fun Fest Canceled

DVISD will provide a packaged breakfast and lunch for students while schools are closed. Starting Mar. 30, meals for 2 days will be delivered on Mon. and Wed. and meals for 3 days will be provided on Fri. Delivery routes may change based on demand. Click for more info.
