The DVHS boys soccer team will take on Round Rock in the bi-district playoff game this Thursday, March 23!

DVHS attended the annual region choir auditions at Bowie High School this past Saturday! DVHS had 8 students participate, 3 made the Region Choir, and of the 3, 1 is advancing to Pre Area and we have a first alternate for Pre Area.
Please help us celebrate our newest region choir members: Ally Martinez, Don'Tae Mitchell and Abram Rios.
The region concert will be Saturday, November 5th at the AISD PAC.

We hope you are having a fantastic summer! The 2022-2023 school year is quickly approaching. It is our goal that all 9th grade students and their parents attend Freshmen Orientation to ensure that your child has a successful year.
At Orientation, you and your child will have an opportunity to learn about DVHS policies and programs, review graduation requirements, gain access to monitor your child’s progress throughout the school year, take a campus tour and meet with your principals. . In addition, students will check out a DVHS chrome book, take their picture ID, sign the Class of 2026 DVHS banner, and earn HERO points for attending orientation. The non profit "The Young Women's Alliance" selected five Senior Del Valle ladies and each received a $5,000 scholarship. In collaboration with the DVHS College and Career Center, this event was organized and coordinated to award these five students. Counsel member Vanessa Fuentes representing District 2 was in attendance at this event as she is a member of the young Women's Alliance. Thank you to the YWA for offering this opportunity. Del Valle is incredibly proud of these recipients and can wait to see what the future holds for these Cardinals.
